The project site lies within one of the world’s oldest shipyard regions, with a history dating back to 1455. Delivering modern marine infrastructure in such a historically significant and geotechnically complex environment requires a careful balance of engineering precision and respect for cultural heritage.
The scope of works includes the construction of a tubular pile quay wall system, incorporating steel pile driving operations, Pile Dynamic Testing, and the construction of reinforced concrete superstructure elements.
With its challenging subsurface conditions characterized by deep soft clay layers, the project demands advanced engineering solutions and meticulous execution.
